YARD WASTE SITE
The City Of Chippewa Falls operates a yard
waste site for city residents to bring leaves, grass clippings, garden
plants, vines, and brush up to 4 inches in diameter. Hours for the site
are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM and the 2nd and 4th
Saturdays of the month from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The site will open
for the Saturday part of the 2004 season on Saturday, April 24
and will close on Saturday, November 13. The site will open
for the weekday part of the season as the snow melts and becomes usable
and will remain open until the first snowfall. The site will not
be open on holidays.
XMAS TREES:
There is a area just out side the
gate for City Of Chippewa
residents to bring their Christmas trees. That area is open 24 hours a
day starting December 26th.
Both the yard waste site and
Christmas tree site are located at 5
Riverside Drive
, on the south end of the
Main
Street Bridge
