The City of Chippewa Falls operates a yard waste site for city residents to bring leaves, grass clippings, garden plants, vines and brush up to four (4) inches in diameter. The site, located at 5 Riverside Drive, will be open from April until the first week in November. Hours for the site are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM and the 2^nd and 4^th Saturdays of the month from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The site will not be open on holidays.

The gate closed promptly at the designated time, give yourself time to unload your yardwaste. City residents using this site must empty bagged waste and deposit waste, brush and branches at the designated location.

Depositing unauthorized waste at this site or depositing yard waste at undesignated time or any other form of littering can result in a $91.00 fine.

Christmas Trees

There is an area just outside the gate at 5 Riverside Drive for City residents to bring their Christmas trees. The area is open 24 hours a day starting on December 26.
